About Bottle Hunt

Bottle Hunt is a free, community-powered platform for Pennsylvania bourbon hunters. We monitor what the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board's Fine Wine & Good Spirits system makes public — Whiskey Releases, the Limited-Release Lottery, store-level inventory — and layer on crowdsourced sightings and delivery-day reports from real hunters in real stores.

Our goal is simple: tell you which store to drive to, which day to go, and what's likely to be there when you arrive — without making you click through five tabs at once.

Who it's for

Pennsylvania residents 21 and older who hunt allocated bourbon and rye. If you camp the FWGS Whiskey Release page on Friday mornings, watch the Limited-Release Lottery, or just want to know if your local store has Buffalo Trace this week — this is for you.

Free, with an opt-in paid tier later

The website, the data, the email alerts, and the manufacturer rebate directory are free and will stay free. SMS alerts ship in a later phase as a small monthly subscription, because text messages cost us money per send. Everything else stays free.

What we're not

We don't sell bottles. We don't broker bottles. We don't process rebates. We aggregate public information and add a community layer on top. We're not affiliated with the PLCB, FWGS, or any liquor manufacturer.
